Before a home crowd, the Lakers took down the NBA-leading Oklahoma City Thunder (34-11), 105-96.
Despite 35 points from Kevin Durant, the Lakers were able to outlast Oklahoma City by shooting better than 50 percent from the floor and 40-plus percent from beyond the arc.
The Lakers saw six players score in double figures, including Pau Gasol and Antawn Jamison off the bench.
Four of five Thunder starters scored in the double digits but OKC as a team shot a mere 25 percent from three-point range, which ultimately doomed Oklahoma City.
Russell Westbrook scored 17 points but shot a mere 6-for-22 from the field while dishing 13 assists.
