NBA ALL STAR 2012
The 2012 NBA All-Star Game is an exhibition basketball game that will be played on February 26, 2012 at Amway Center in Orlando, Florida, home of the Orlando Magic. This game will be the 61st edition of the National Basketball Association (NBA) All-Star Game and will be played during the 2011–12 NBA season. The Orlando Magic will serve as host. The Magic were awarded the All-Star Game in an announcement by commissioner David Stern on May 4, 2010. This will be the second time that Orlando had hosted the All-Star Game; the city had previously hosted the event in 1992 in the Orlando Arena, the Magic's previous home arena. It will also mark the first time an Eastern Conference city hosted an All-Star game since Atlanta, Georgia in 2003.
The NBA All-Star starters were announced, and that gives us a wealth of things to discuss—namely which squad has the advantage. This is about what battles would be settled at each position. Each team will be lopping up cupcakes to be dunked and playing absolutely no defense. If we want to truly know how these teams are measured, we have to do it ourselves.
Hey! first, the lineups:
West Reserves:
PF - Dirk Nowitzki (Dallas Mavericks)
PF - LaMarcus Aldridge (Portland Trail Blazers)
C - Marc Gasol (Memphis Grizzlies)
PF - Kevin Love (Minnesota Timberwolves)
PG - Steve Nash (Phoenix Suns)
PG - Tony Parker (San Antonio Spurs)
PG - Russell Westbrook (Oklahoma City Thunder)
East Reserves:
SF - Paul Pierce (Boston Celtics)

SF - Luol Deng (Chicago Bulls)
C- Roy Hibbert (Indiana Pacers)
SF - Andre Iguodala (Philadelphia 76ers)
SG - Joe Johnson (Atlanta Hawks)
PG - Deron Williams (New Jersey Nets)
We sliced up both teams and determined—in a very brief manner—which team has the edge. The balance of power has officially shifted to the East, where experience and talent reign supreme.
