The 2011 NBA Draft was held on June 23, 2011 at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The draft started at 7:00 pm Eastern Daylight Time, and was broadcast in the United States on ESPN. In this draft, National Basketball Association (NBA) teams took turns selecting amateur U.S. college basketball players and other eligible players, including international players. The Cleveland Cavaliers had the first pick, choosing point guard Kyrie Irving of Duke.

#7 - The Bobcats have obtained the pick from the Kings as part of a 3 team trade involving the the Kings, Bobcats and the Bucks.
#10 - The Kings have obtained the pick from the Bucks as part of a 3 team trade involving the the Kings, Bobcats and the Bucks.
#15 - The Pacers have obtained George Hill from the San Antonio Spurs for the rights to Kawhi Leaonard, the #15 pick in the 2011 Draft.
#18 - The Washington Wizards receive the Atlanta Hawks’ 2011 1st round pick, Mike Bibby, Jordan Crawford, and Maurice Evans for Kirk Hinrich and Hilton Armstrong.
#19 - Charlotte has traded the pick to the Bucks as part of a 3 team trade involving the Bobcats, Bucks and the Kings. The Portland Trailblazers trade a 2011 first round pick (top 7 protected in 2011, top 8 protected from 2012-2014) to Charlotte as part of the Gerald Wallace/Joel Przybilla trade.
#20 - The Wolves will send Motiejunas and Jonny Flynn to the Rockets for the No. 23 pick, a future first-round pick and Brad Miller. The Minnesota Timberwolves receive the Grizzlies' 2011 first-round pick, via the Jazz (Ronnie Brewer trade) (top 14 protected in 2011, top 12 protected in 2012, top 10 protected in 2013, top 9 protected in 2014 and 2015, if pick is not conveyed to the Timberwolves by 2015, the Timberwolves will instead receive cash considerations from the Grizzlies) (Al Jefferson trade 07-13-10)
#23 - Houston receives Phoenix's 1st round pick (lottery protected) and Goran Dragic for Aaron Brooks. Phoenix receives Orlando's 2011 1st round pick along with Vince Carter, Mickael Pietrus, Marcin Gortat, in a 3 team deal for Jason Richardson, Hedo Turkoglu, Earl Clark.
#25 -The Celtics select Marshon Brooks on behalf of the New Jersey Nets in return for the 27th pick and a future second rounder.
#27 - The New Jersey Nets acquire the L.A. Lakers’ 2011 1st Round Pick (top 18 protected) and Houston's 2012 1st Round Pick (lottery protected) as part of a 3-team deal.
#28 - The Bulls trade the rights of Norris Cole (#28 Pick in 2011) to the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Chicago Bulls receive the Miami Heat's 2011 first-round pick, via the Raptors (Chris Bosh trade) (top 14 protected in 2011, if the Heat's own 2011 first-round pick is in top 14, the Heat will instead send cash to the Raptors) (James Johnson trade 02-22-11)
* New Jersey receives Golden State's 2011 1st Round Pick (Lottery protected) from the Marcus Williams trade in 2008.
